The Ark Was H-U-G-E!
Sophomore students are required to take a year of "Bible" which is taught by Rev. Jimmy Griffith. Beginning in Genesis, students study the books of the Old Testament during semester one and move to the New Testament at semester two. To help grasp the vast size of Noah's Ark, students used colored flags on the football field to mark off the measurements described in Genesis 6. After converting cubits to feet it was determined that the ark was 450 ft long x 75 ft wide x 45 ft tall.
