| Since its inception, the Pinewood League has operated primarily as a fund-raising and support organization for Pinewood Christian Academy. The League, composed of school patrons, has provided generous support to the academy through the years. Each year, the Board of Governors includes in its operating budget an annual contribution from the Pinewood League. These funds flow into the school's general fund to help provide for the operational needs of the academy. In essence, the revenues from the League have essentially helped maintain reasonable levels of tuition for our patron families. |

PCA Patrons through League projects have raised over $1,205,000 for the past eleven years. With this money great improvements have been made to our facilities and educational programs. When you support our PCA League along with all our great parents, you will be part of a winning Patriot team dedicated to the development of the finest academy possible for our children. What could be more worthy of your whole-hearted support!!!
Some of the great improvements to our facilities and on going educational programs are: Annual commitment to school budget of $20,000, Academic supplements (textbooks & teacher supplies), Annual teacher supply money, ITBS testing for the odd numbered grades, a PCA sound system for the Patriot gym, new gym tarp, faculty and staff appreciation luncheons, teacher storage cabinets, classroom vacuums and annual supplies, lunchroom floor buffer, large hall vacuum and spot cleaner, A/C for gymnasium, bus shelter, new student desk, Home Economics lab, new carpet, paint, lighting and ceiling tiles throughout, library refurbishments, Accelerated Reader Program and annual support for AR program and program rewards, PCA Webpage, Upper and Lower school computer labs, Tab Smith and Albert Parker Scholarships for PCA seniors, security fence and lights, playground equipment & picnic tables, patron directory, region tournament hospitality room, Former Board of Governor Appreciation dinner, annual cleaning of lunchroom chairs, Lunchroom stove & fryer, fertilizer spreader & sprayer, chairs for academic center, School Dynamics Software, School Cast, classroom computers, furniture for the 2008 construction, a lightning detector, parking lot improvements, hospitality room for school functions, donations toward the new auxillary gym and the list continues.
