On February 1st, Pinewood Christian Academy welcomed 18 new members to the 1100 Club. To be eligible for the recognition, a student must have a combined math-verbal score of 1100 or higher on a single sitting of the SAT or a composite of 24 or higher on the ACT. This year's group of inductees included 9 juniors and 9 seniors. Including the 6 seniors who were inducted last February, the class of 2012 now has over 30% of its prospective graduates in the 1100 Club. The group was treated to a luncheon, compliments of headmaster Clint Welch, at The Millhouse in Statesboro to celebrate this outstanding accomplishment.  Not Pictured Hannah Caudill.

Investigating Springs: Students in Mrs. Shuman's Algebra I classses created an apparatus using pennies, paper cups, rubber bands, tape, string, and paper clips to measure the "constant of variation" of their springs (rubberbands). Pictures
