The Learning Support Center has been implemented at Pinewood Christian Academy to provide additional support to students as they grow academically. Students will gain confidence and acquire skills that will help lead to a lifetime of success!
The Learning Support Center is available for those students seeking academic support and may be referred by the classroom teacher, school counselor, headmaster, or parent.
The Comprehensive Program serves students by:
- Structuring study time
- Providing academic tutoring as necessary
- Teaching test-taking and study strategies
- Teaching organizational and study skills
- Maintaining communication with classroom teachers

The Learning Support Center provides tutorial assistance for any student who wishes to maintain higher averages, and for those students who may have academic difficulty. Fees are charged based on an hourly rate and are billed monthly by Mrs. Winters’ Classroom, Inc.
